What customers say?

“ Another visit did not disappoint. I met Fernando years ago when he was starting out his business and painting lines on his parking lot, he was Passionate and enthusiastic about the food experience he was going to offer at his restaurant. Authentic Mexican food was awesome, staff were very polite and attentive, the atmosphere had me thinking I was back on vacation in Mexico. The 2 hour ride was well worth the visit!! Will be back for sure. ”

“ We had a private event here for family and friends the day after our wedding and it was so perfect. The food here is incredible and Maria and the other staff are a delight to work with. It’s also so easy to work with them about allergies (we had gluten and dairy allergies to plan for). The pricing was very reasonable and Maria worked with us on customizing the plan for the event (a drink ticket system, nachos per table etc). We will definitely be back anytime we’re in the area ”

“ Absolutely Fantastic! We stopped by Tacos and Tequila at Normandale Century Inn and were blown away! The food was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented — every taco was packed with authentic taste and creativity. Whether you’re local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon! ”

“ Had driven along the Lake Erie shore pre-COVID exploring numerous cute little "hamlets" between Port Dover and Port Stanley and had noted this place looked cute. Just by chance a friend from Delhi suggested this and ..VOILA!!! I finally got here!!!! Being off-season, sadly, we missed the patio experience but got some pretty personal service and some great tacos and tequila!!!! Beautifully decorated but quite small interior made it a bit difficult to have a conversation after a wine tour group came in. ”

“ This adorable little gem is the perfect hide away dinner. Completely love the family like setting of the atmosphere. The food is defently authentic. We had the Birria tacos and the T & T Nachos. The tacos of pulled beef with side of dipping broth was amazing. The nachos are definitely up you taste buds if you enjoy refried beans on them instead of an alternate at other restaurents. We sat outside in the back which had a lovely view and "fast and furious family dinner setting". We for sure recommend the tacos on corn tortillas. We hope you return to this amazing little hidden gem soon for a frozen margaritas in real terra cotta glass!! The inside is amazingly decorated. Parking is a bit tight however this little restaurant is reasonably priced and worth the adventure/drive out too! ”

“ Most authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico! Tacos & Tequila delivers a vibrant atmosphere, great food, and standout drinks. The tacos are fresh, flavourful, and perfectly balanced, but the real highlight is the spicy margaritas — bold, well-crafted, and just the right amount of heat. They add an extra kick that takes the whole experience up a notch. A great spot for delicious food, lively vibes, and unforgettable margaritas. ”

“ This place is bursting with authenticity and flavor. The colourful patio adds to the charm, though you may need to wait a bit to be seated. After seated and while waiting for our drink/food, we were warmly welcomed with a basket of tortilla chips and a delicious bean paste, such a nice touch! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. We shared the Colache, which was a good portion for two, and ended with four perfectly crisp Churros. Both the Paloma and Margarita were excellent cocktail choices. Phone/Internet connection is not great, and you need to pay inside. Highly recommend stopping by! ”
